It’s such a subjective issue at the end of the day – art can be anything to anyone, ultimately. Who am I to judge? I draw like a toddler! 😉

  2. I had to laugh out loud when I heard they hadn’t even opened the can to see if they got what they paid for!! Mind you, as a piece of art, does it have to conform to Trade Descriptions Act?
Interesting chat. He doesn’t come off so well talking to Jon Snow and the Times’ Art Correspondent either.
Seems to me that Art must have art, as in artful, in it, innit?
The can of shit is taking the piss, just like the £500k urinal. The bricks were controversial in the 60’s. Is the envelope getting bigger?

Robert Hughes hit the nail on the head in his scathing analysis of modern art – will post a great documentary by him shortly 🙂
